Beware Of Envirospec

guess what? there are 2 envirospecs...envirospec north (paul and the good guys) and envirospec (the not so good guys). i placed an order last week with envirospec that totaled 53.70. my total bill was 72.63 after i paid the 18.93 "shipping and handling" fee. come on guys! this was a 2 lb package from ga to nc. how many times did you handle it? you used ups ground which cost 9.05 to ship when you could have used fedex which would have only cost me 6.80. i emailed you with my complaint and you have failed to email or call me back to discuss. i am sharing this information with all my hard working brothers and sisters on the pressure washing institute who depend on vendors like you to keep them supplied with quailty service and parts. i accidentally ordered from you as i had you saved under my "favorites". this accident will not happen again. consider yourself "deleted". a copy of my invoice is available to those who request. sorry gang, but i needed to vent and i didn't want this to happen to you too.

Anytime you have a complaint that you really want addressed, you should be calling the company. You said you emailed them, which is fine. BUT, emails get lost, deleted, blocked by spam filters, etc. Depending on how you worded your complaint, maybe they thought you were being unreasonable and there was no way they could make you happy. There are any number of reasons no one responded to your email. In a situation like you describe, most retailers will do right by you if you call and talk to them as a reasonable yet dissatisfied customer. Good luck resolving the problem.

For the last 15 minutes I have tried to find who you are by sorting for you name, name of your company, City, State and I have even gone into the 'back door' of our database and tried to find the amounts you indicate that you have paid.

I am sorry but there is no record of you in our database. I looked at your on-line profile and looked for street address matches and even looked for Thompson, which is how you signed your post.

This is not to say that you don't exist - you obviously do. As far as the freight is concerned I can't say if that is out of line or not since I do not have anything to go by.

If you would like to address this professionally please call Richard (a good guy in Georgia) and have him get with me and we will investigate you concerns and make any necessary adjustments.

actually Rando shipping and handling markups are not uncommon with rising fuel cost .... ever bought anything off of ebay ? .99 cent item will end up costing 12.00 bucks ...... you have to figure the cost of the box and added packing materials plus if your order is under like $35.00 some companies put a surcharge on that as well .

I am not taking sides but like everyone else said you should call them and try to resolve this ,I have never done business with them but I have seen John and Paul on these boards and they seem quite professional ,the reason I have posted is because I have seen this that you posted on more than one board and this is their livelihood and I am sure you would not want them trashing you over a couple of bucks either .I mean come on what was it like a $9.00 difference ? I spend that on garbage in a convenience store twice a day .

Try to resolve it without being negative or just move on and buy from someone else .

You mention my name in this post - (Thompson). I was simply responding to a post trying to give my 2 cents in a constructive way. This issue is not regarding Thompson's Powerwashing. I have not ordered from Envirospec yet, mainly because I am new to the industry this year. It certainly sounds like you are interested in resolving this, but again, it was not me that had the problem. Sorry if I caused any confusion.
