Best small business organizational structure?

Great stuff here..It seems like most of you who have posted here have family involved in your business model structure..

2 Questions- Has having any family part of your business impacted it in any way - positively or negatively..Secondly- do you think you would have evolved to where you are now if your family wasnt involved?..Obviously having the right trusting personnel (Family) is a huge benefit some of us do not have..
 
It all depends on the morals, ethics, and faith of the family members.

For example, I have family members I wouldn't allow alone in my house

On the other hand between Shelly, Chris and Jill all three of them would starve if the other needed a piece of bread to live.

When your family consists of members like that there is no limit to what they can accomplish.

DJ - Wow, that was exactly what I was looking for! Thank you very much. I loved how not only was there organizational information, but it was also based in systems. This is the type of information I crave and desire to learn more about. Thanks again DJ!
 
YW Jason. Everything I do in my business and in my life now has a systematize approach and is automated or delegated if at all possible.

I'm honestly a little over the top with it, more so than the avg guy. Example: I don't clean my house, do my dishes, my laundry, nor pick up or drop off my dry cleaning - I hired some one to do that. Heck I don't even make my green juice anymore - some one does that as well.

I don't cut my nails my self anymore either . . . . Tony that one was for you ;)
