Does anyone know a good place to buy Rain coats and pants that have the suspenders that stretch and are heavy duty. I've bought rain coats/pants from home depot and they last for a couple of cleanings then they fall apart. Real garbage.

Is there a good place on the net that sells high quality rain coats/pants and what are the prices. Thanks

Hello John,

We use waist pants and hooded jackets. We buy them locally from Mettam Safety. They also ship out of state. Their web site is http://www.mettam.com

You might try Bass Pro Shops or Cabela's. I actually went to bass pro tonight and bought some rain gear. You can spend anywhere up to $200 for a jacket. I bought jacket for $60, much higher than rainsuit but won't tear up as soon as you bend over. The stuff with Goretex is expensive, but it is good quality. Just depends what you want to spend. Me, I'll spend extra money and be comfortable while I work any day.

Also bought some really thin waterproof gloves, they are warm but allow the dexterity of something like those jersey gloves. The brand of these was 'stormcloth', check out their catalog on their website, gloves were $25.
