Best Chemical for cleaning Brick

Do you mix it stronger than you would for vinyl, or its about the same? For 5gal bucket I usually do 2 gals 12.5% sh, 2 gals surfactant, 1gal water. But thats for my pump up sprayer.if one were to down stream that, would you just not add the water to the bucket and add more sh of surfactant?

What are you using for surfactant? Most surfactants are used by the ounce @ 1 oz per gallon of total mix.

2 gallons surfactant? Wow that's diluting your bleach way down! What kind of surfactant are you using? That'd cause a lot of rinsing time unless the surfactant is really diluted down to start with. I think you need to look at something like Elemonator or Roof Snot or something that is not going to dilute your SH down so much.

ya I only use 5 to 8 OUNCES of roof snot to 5 gallons of mix.

That's a LOT of Snot! I mix 3 oz to a fiver. Anything more takes forever to rinse. As far as using two gallons of surfactant, he might be using Blue Voodoo or something like that.

ya I should be using 4 but I always add just a little more. one or two extra glugs. I don't actually measure it. I have used 5 gallons in two seasons.

It's a house wash mix that I was trying out from a local seller. That's the way the directions stated to mix it for a 5gal bucket.
