Best Chemical for Car Fleets?

I have about 8 accounts that are car fleets, that need to be cleaned on the outside, vaccumed on the inside, windows cleaned, and dash wiped down. What is the best chemicals to use on the outside for the least amount of work and best quality. How would you approach 50 to 80 cars at a time with 2 to 3 people working.

I hate to say it depends, but it depends. Are you using DI water? If you aren't, you should. Are they detail conscious, meaning not worried that the cars are show ready, or is it a fleet, they want them cleaned, with maybe a detail from time to time?

The absolute fastest way I have washed a car is to have a guy that has a wash mit or pad ahead of me, I have a regular rinse, then someone behind vacuuming. Hit the car with the mitt, with whatever car wash soap you use, and he goes to the next car. You rinse it, and the third guy vacuums, and hits the dash. At the end of the wash, you go back, and quick rinse the windows again, with DI water, while the two guys are finishing the interiors. You might get a little water spotting on the windows, but really, it does a great job. Like I said, how detail oriented are they?

Definitely a DI tank. Then, like Scott stated, it all depends on the quality the customer is looking for.

I usually do a spray wax on my regularly scheduled fleets once every 6 months. Not only a great selling pitch, but the wax actually make the future washing jobs easier. Use a quality wash/wax carwash product.

Car dealerships (which are not a big market anymore) I have seen contractors simply rinse, wipe and move on. But they are getting less than $1.00 a car, sometime way less than $1.00 a car.

Thanks Scott! I dont have DI water I was going to try so soft from sunbrite.

Depending upon the profit ratio on these accounts, you may need to look into a RO system that will eliminate the need for refilling tanks but the downside to this is you will have to carry your own water there to do the final rinse on them. 300 gallons can cover roughly 150 cars rinsing depending upon how sparce you are with your water and tips
