Barn find

That's a great price for that car Tony. I would be checking e-bay though to see what they are selling for restored.

Just a side note though (in case they are were on there and just not visible in the picture) Chris might want to invest in 4 chains and 4 rachet binders if he is going to get into the car hauling business. With rachet binders you can get the chains tighter. The 1" motorcycle straps can be used as additional safeties if he wants. I'm just looking for Chris is all. I have over 7 years experience towing anything from shopping carts to fully loaded tractor trailers.

Put a 440-6 in it and buy stock in a tire shop.

Well, Chris put a grand total of about $1k in it. He did all the bodywork himself primed it, stripped it and painted the engine compartment and trunk.

He bought a 383 engine for it, but somebody offered him a lot more than he paid for the engine within a week or so, so he sold that.

Got the stock engine running good enough to drive around town with it.

BUT, after almost a year of trying to get the title it just wasn't going to happen without a few trips to Carson City to a judge. Nevada has some goofy laws and it was even more complicated since the original owner is from California and is dead as far as we can tell.

So, he finally sold it to a guy who wanted to make a drag car out of it.

He got three Yamaha Quads, a 660R Raptor, a 150 and a 50.

I think he did pretty good on that deal.
