Ball valve on down streamer

If I put a ball valve on a down streamer would it mess the down streamer up when valve was closed? Yes I know it will not pull chem when closed. Just wanted to see if it would damage or mess up the ds in any way. Has any one done this? Is there any advice on making this work properly?

Yes a small 1/8 ball valve between ds and chem line

I've been meaning to do the same. As long as it doesn't create a restriction I think you are good. Maybe do a draw test before and after to make sure

Kory, it will be fine. I have one on my 8gpm for a while now. I'm going to install one on my other machine. They're good to have.

I use a 3 way ball valve on mine. One line goes to chem and the other line goes to water for flushing the injector.

I used to have one of those small gray plastic ball valves like what come with the X-Jet on my downstream injector but somehow it got lost and I just do without.

I have them on both of mine and never had a problem. I will never not have one, its great for cutting back the mix without adding water.. Great way to turn on and off without having to remove the downstream injector also..
