Quick question for the Burner wizzards. I didnt have much time for testing before i posted this. I will be working on it later in the morning, but wanted to see what you all thought. I have a 8gpm landa SLT and was working when all of a sudden i saw alot of white smoke out the stack & my burner on n off switch has a light that went off and after that the burner stopped working:shrug:?
I pluged a light up to it as its 110volt and cranked it up but no light:shrug:? does this mean i need a new generator:confused:?
thanks for your help

Check the belt first. If the belt is on and tight, it may be time for generator repair / replacement.

Does it have fuel? Stupid question, but I know of at least one person that bought an ignitor for a no fuel situation...

hahahha Scott that was the first thing i checked. (learned that the hard way :banghead:)
I pluged it up to a cord and no light on the switch or fuel going to the pump.
What are the odds that it might just be the on and off switch?
Belts are good n tight. Danny B. where would the gfci/fuse be on the PW? thanks for the help guys

checking the GFCI (if it has one,) is a good call,

Also look for a breaker on the generator itself.

And..
a friendly reminder..
these machines get "wet for a living" .. and wimpy connections grow bad.

You could be looking for a loose connection,
or an over-heated one.. You'll find that by the discoloration (charring).

ESPECIALLY when troubleshooting electrical, take your time !!
don't skip-over a single bad connection,
and..
rainproof, rainproof, rainproof !!
..That doesn't mean seal it up, unless you're willing to use grease in the connectors.
Not White-Lithium.. I mean "sticky-grease" like you use on swivels.
