Awning cleaning advice

Could someone please give me some advice on cleaning an awning. I have never cleaned one before, so any information is helpful. What type of chemical? What pressure recommended? Hot or cold? Thanks!
 
Try www.awningpro.com and look into an orginization named The National Register of Professional Awning Cleaners (NARPAC). Training seminars are available at Do-It-Right in Tampa, FL hosted by Bill & Paul Diehl who own and operate a professional awning cleaning company and a catalog order company for awning cleaning materials and supplies.

Although our market has not been highly receptive to awning and canopy cleaning I found the training invaluable and we offer awning and canopy cleaning as an add-on service. I recommend the training to anyone interested in awning & canopy cleaning.
 
one of those links the guy who owns it posts right here. you may have to e-mail him, thats all he does is awnings... i can tell you that its not just about pw. i really believe you shouldnt pw awnings. chemicals and a brush. pw is 2 agressive.
