Anyone Using Facebook Ads?

Is anyone using facebook ads? If so how effective have you found them to be and how do you measure it? Are you boosting your posts or creating ads or videos or what has worked best? Has anyone used a service to set this all up for them and/or for adwords?

Thanks in advance!

I never tried facebook ads but in my opinion i dont see then turning you any more business then if you were to create a business page and post in your local groups. I bypass the ads most of the time but thats just me. I feel instead of paying for their ad service...just join every local group and post a ad in there as many times as they allow...thats free

There are several creative ways to advertise on facebook. I boost a lot of my posts, basically to brand my business. I think I just break even with boosting costs and jobs I get out of it. I have just discovered clickable pic ads, which does two things it is an advertisement and it gives you SEO juice by getting clicks to your site. Branding works in ways you don' even see. People who see your ad on facebook but don't respond. Will see your name when they go looking for the service and it helps steer them to you as a familiar entity. It really does work. Just hard to pin down and document. It takes money you are willing to part with that does't show immediate and verifiable results.

We use about 50-100 dollars a month in facebook ads.. I cannot say I've got a lot of jobs just from my ads I've gotten a few. 1 house wash pays for a few months of ads so really its not money wasted. The main reason we do FB ads is so we can show our brand to people over and over and over again so when they do look they know a company already because they see our ads every month. We live in St Louis and in the winter months we cant do anything so by posting ads we are staying fresh in everyone's minds and then when spring comes around they know who to call.
Hope that help.
Also people are lazy and people don't like to read so video ads work really well for us.

I have used FB ads a couple of times. I've done it twice. Both times I drove so much traffic to my website. I had it linked to the "Get a Free Estimate" page on my website. The first time i did this I had tons of people fill out the request form. The second time I had tons of people click over to my website but only 2 fill out the form. I think it was the time of year.

If you do it write it can be profitable.

Have a great before and after photo and a very easy call to action. Mine was to fill out the estimate form. All they had to do was click the link and start filling it out. make it super simple like that.

When you do it, choose your demographic - radius from your location, home value, home owner

Do it like this you should do well with it.

Having said that, I've generated more business by just posted before and after photos on my FB profile and on our town FB page and on local Swip Swap pages. Put a before and after photo, have your number and website, and it's free.

Try them both but try it more towards March, April and May.
