Anyone here monetizing geo traffic from rejected loan offers?

Hey! Can you tell me how you deal with issues involving rejected offers? I recently added a strict filter to my microloan and credit card comparison site because affiliate programs were constantly cutting off payments due to “wrong region” or failure to meet age requirements. Now a bunch of visitors just hit a dead end when the system rejects them. It’s such a shame to lose such high-quality traffic, since people came here to use the service.

Does anyone know how to monetize these ineligible sessions without having to rebuild the entire site? And what about payments—if I run alternative ads at the moment of rejection, is it better to choose CPC (cost per click) or eCPM (effective cost per thousand impressions) to avoid going into the red?

This happens all the time in the financial niche; I myself once lost up to a third of my revenue due to verification system rejections or mismatched geolocation. The simplest solution is to set up overlays that immediately catch the user’s attention when they receive a rejection. For my project, I integrated https://retarget.gg/ because everything there runs through a single script, and it offers a Geo Popup for foreign regions and a Decline Popup in case of KYC failure. As for payment models, eCPM usually yields more stable results when there’s a lot of traffic, while CPC works great for niche markets. By the way, what’s your main audience in terms of geography—purely UAM/EU or a mix?
