OK, Here we go (sound of can of worms opening up).
I went to his website and found some interesting things.
1. I have never seen commercial grade roof cleaning chemicals at Home Depot or Lowe's, Most of what they sell is not commercial grade, more like homeowner grade.
2. I understand about the dead grass and shrubbery, it can happen to any of us and has happened to me, I will admit it but I replaced the damage and they were happy. The streaks?????? What streaks???? I have some pictures of tile roofs and shingle roofs and there are no streaks. There are dozens and dozens of shingle roofs on the boards with no "Streaks". What are you talking about?
3. Do to environmental and safety concerns, chlorine is no recommended. Exactly who stated this? What organization? What company? What professional? Where is it so I can read it? What industry professional wrote it? Come on now, you state it as if it is a fact, where is the proof? Don't make a statement like that if you don't have proof.
In case you have not read the bulletins by the ARAMA, GAF and Owens Corning, you need to read them, they recommend bleach, I hope nobody that knows about the bulletins reads your website, they would be calling you a liar, phony, fraud, and more not-so-nice words trying to mislead them.
4. Bleach has no cleaning capabilities at all and the results are temporary????????? I have some roofs that are still clean after a few years, one was 4 years then it started getting dirty again. I guess you are going to say that bleach has no sanitizing qualities either? Most restaurants use bleach for sanitizing their silverware, dishes, pots, pans, etc....
I guess that everyone here that does roofs are imagining that we are cleaning the roofs, imagining that we are making people happy and collecting imaginary checks????????? Who are you? What kind of crap are you trying to feed people? I hope your customers find out about this site and learn the truth.
Are you really that Tim the Dumba** guy from the youtube trying to mislead everyone?
Sounds like you are either blasting away at the shingles with pressure or using the Sodium Percarbonate which will need pressure to clean anyway if the customers don't fall for the "wait until it rains and you will see the results", it will work somewhat but I have not seen it do a 100% job when it rains unless it is a very hard rain and drops a few inches on the ground.
5. What is this about the chlorine drying out the shingles????? Show me some proof. I want to see proof of that statement. Where is it so I can see it and the others here can see it too.
I will stop here, ther is more to contest but I have to wake up early and this will give you time to dig up some PROOF to your statements you make on your website. I would be careful about some of those statements, you might be setting yourself up for some legal issues with some companies.
I hope you did the research and have proof for your statements and did not just take the word of some chemical supplier trying to sell you his product, that would be foolish. Some suppliers will tell you things, use scare tactics and just make foolish people believe their lies and B.S. to sell them their products and make you believe that what they say is the gospel truth.
Let's see some of that proof in writing.
