Anyone else getting attacked by Love Bugs

I had a call from a customer today and he says that the little black and orange louisiana love bugs are coming into his reataurant thru the vent hood.. I got to go up there today and I will bring back some photos.. This is a first for me ??

Love bugs are a part of life in south Ga.We made trip to pick up chlorine this morning (20 miles each way)and our truck looks like it went through a rain storm of the nasty little suckers.
They guts will etch the paint if not cleaned of regularly.

I remember when we first moved to FL as a kid, seeing Cadillacs, etc. driving around with screen covers for the front. Real funny to a yankee.

John, Does the guys exhaust work? They must be some monster bugs that can fly thru a fan and down thru 1500 cfm of hot air and then do a zig zag thru a baffle filter.

I found out where they are coming from , this hood has an old looking return air fan they are coming thru it because it has no filters.. So I am going to clean the hood tommorrow night and the make some air filters out of filter material to go on the return air , this should solve the problem// The Bugs were coming thru the return air then hitting the exhaust filters and falling into the food.. YUK !!!

"delicacy" yes indeed. I just recently got home from the Philippines and love bugs would have been one of the least disgusting "delicacies" we ate there!
