I appreciate everyone getting back to me so quickly. I'm in process of bidding 15 fairly large shopping centers in these areas and I wanted to pull in as many local contractors as I could on the jobs to get them done faster, and to spread the work around a bit to the local guys.
I never intended to service properties that were that far away but they really wanted to use us on these centers. Apparently they have had some problems with local contractors and their own employees doing the work so they wanted to bring in someone from outside the area.
What I'd like to do is work with some VA Beach companies on the centers (If they agree to my terms) and help the locals build a relationship with local contractors so they can service the centers in the future. Right now, I just don't have any time free to take on more work for the long term.
I could sub the work out, but that's not how I do things. If anyone is interested in working these centers don't worry, I'm not going to low ball you so I make more money off them. I just want to get them done quickly and get back to other projects I'm involved in.
I'll send more details out on the centers to those of you that contact me when I get approval of the contracts.
