Any suggestions please?

I just replaced aluminum filters (11) on an 18’ or so hood, and the up blast fan seems too strong and pulls them away from the plenum? Just can’t stay away from these situations. The old ones were bad, to the extent that it would take forever to clean them. Any ideas? PS the old ones were aluminum, replaced with flame gard type 3. Thanks Mikey

Mikey,
Why are you selling aluminum? Is the customer requesting it?
Galvanized and stainless steel are considerably heavier and typically don't get drawn upward. The galvanized are about the same price and the stainless are quite a bit more money.

Never replace- "I just replaced aluminum filters"-they are worthless. AAAAAAAAAAnything but aluminum!

There should be something to hold them in place. Lock handles pehaps.

Just don't drop them on anything, what do they make those things out of anyway? Those are okay if they are kept clean, if they are neglected you can't get the stuff out of them without taking them apart.
