Another Tank Plumbing question...

Hey everyone, been busy building my latest trailer set-up. Coming along great! I usually always used 5 gallon containers for chemicals and dropped the line with filter from the injector in there. Now I have a larger tank bolted in the trailer for chemicals. How is everyone running their lines into the tank? I want a way to run the hose through the top of the tank so that as I drive, the chemicals won't splash up and seep out. Any liquid tight solutions or grommets? Thanks!

I bought a bulkhead fitting and going to drill the top and plumb it that way. Using the 3/4" hose barb on the bottom to connect a hose with a piece of PVC to hold it to the bottom. On top I will use a threaded 90 and another hose barb. It wont leak that way. Both pieces of the fitting have 3/4" threads. Once you install the bulkhead fitting you can configure it any way you like. I would install it closest to the opening, that way you can get your hands in there to install it.

Ken,
On my Water Tank I have bulkhead fittings like you mentioned in 1".
I guess since my injector line is 1/4", I would install a 3/4" Bulkhead fitting and put a reducer on each side down to 1/4"?
I'm just wondering if this will create an air pocket since it will be drawing from the tank through a 1/4" hose, get to the 3/4" bulkhead fitting, then back into a 1/4" hose to the injector? Follow me?

Wow you need to write a owners manual for all the plumbing.
