Another scumbag

Tony Shelton

BS Detector, Esquire
Here's the latest Las Vegas scumbag caught in the act of beating innocent citizens. Unfortunately this one has already murdered two citizens and gotten away with it in the past by telling convincing stories about the circumstances. His story this time was convincing too, till they looked at the tape.

This is the rule in Las Vegas, not the exception.

How long are we going to keep giving up our rights to these scumbags?

Dang!

Sounds like a systemic problem. At least you do what you can to keep it in the public light.

You're right about it being a systemic issue.

Getting away with this kind of thing on a daily basis is why the worst in society are drawn to this profession. There are still some good guys that join because they want to help society and serve, but even they turn the other way when these anuses abuse people. If you'll note there were at least 2-3 other officers on the scene in this case and none of them stood up to stop it nor did the reprimand this thug. They are just as guilty as the main guy and all should be fired.

Wow!Really.Yeah the cops should have never been there harrassing those poor burglars should they? The cop come up on a suspicious person on the street that admitted he didn't live there right? Then when the cop gets out to start questioning him, he again fails to comply.I'm sure the cameraman who is a convicted criminal (dui, theft charges) didn't say anything to the cop either other than you can't tell me what to do during your official police investigation(wrong).

The cop then gets run down the river because he has been involved in two shootings?Wow!I guess he should have let the guy with the gun kill a few people at the gas station maybe a couple of unsuspecting mothers and their kids huh?Oh yeah he should have let the 16 year old kid kill his mother to.Then we could all bitch and complain about feeding these guys for the rest of their lives on your tax dollars.

These guys suit up and go out and protect the public and have to make split second decisions based on what they may or may not see and hear. Then We get to second guess it all from in front of the TV like good little CSI watchers.

There is a saying in the law enforcement community that nobody like the cops untill they need the cops.

I agree I think that officer and all the other police officers should be fired and that guy should have been charged with what he got arrested for, for LIEING! Like the report says below the officer should have checked into it and if the guy is allowed on the property then he would have permission. but the guy lied in return he got a beat down from a cocky Mr know it all straight out the police academy! But of them belong in the same place at the same time! Maybe next time he wont LIE and next time the cocky officer will think twice about putting his hands on somebody like that! I cant wait until the sheriff there gets replaced! errrrr......sorry had to vent

That's the way I saw it too. I learned the hard way as a young smart ass, if you don't comply with what the cops tell you to do you will get an ass kicking and rightfully so.

F'in loosers !!

What the guy was doing was totally legal as far as the filming. The suspect or camera man also had the right to resist an unlawful arrest.I was a cop for a while an some guys that go into the field have small man syndrome and think once they put the badge and gun on there are invisable. They have issues steamming from childhood maybe getting picked on or not being popular.Who really knows but Mr.camera man will get paid very very well for what happened to him.Like the other post said what if the camera had not been there. It happens more than we know.

Yeah, we should all "comply".

If our founding fathers had only "complied" when told to give up their weapons. If only they had "complied" when told to turn themselves in for sedition.

The world would be a much better place. ....right?

I'm 45 years old and I've never "needed" a cop. I've needed a report taker to take down insurance info after a car accident.
I've needed a report taker to document the fact that my house was robbed so my insurance would pay.

Thankfully, between beating down citizens, shooting old people in their doorways on bad search warrants and raping hookers there were a few cops available to take those reports when I needed them. Thank you for that LEO.

This guy was videotaping the cop and he didn't like it. The guy doing the videotaping was an instigator (sortof like Thomas Paine was an instigator) but he was doing nothing wrong. By the way, EVERY founding father was a felon. They were all wanted for felony offenses against the crown. That's what happens when you cross law enforcement.

We can either stand up, or cower down. Looks like some of you guys have already made your choice.

You said:

You mean like this girl needed them?

http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=ec0_1303444048

This is why our founding fathers said the right for a citizen to carry a weapon was a GOD GIVEN HUMAN right.

If the police are so keen on protecting us why are the local police departments the biggest force advocating disarming us?

Thomas Paine? This guy is no Thomas Paine he is a dumbass with a camera out to make a buck selling video.Did you read his bio he vidoed another police beating but refused to turn it over to the prosecutors because they wouldn't buy it.Fine out standing young man there, yeah a real fighter for the good of all.

As far as making a choice yes I have to be law abiding citizen. If a cop is conducting an investigation that is ABSOLUTELY none of my business and he starts questioning me why I'm there and I start to lie for no reason what so ever(Unless of course I want to piss him off so I can film it and make some money because that is what I do for a living)then I deserve to be talked to that way.

I was taught to respect he police and I have never had a problem.I have never told a cop that he couldn't tell me what to do or I have never lied to one either.Oh that's right it's his right of free speech to lie to the police.

The police in Las Vegas are trying to disarm you?Or are they trying to disarm the bad guys?

There are hundreds of thousands of police in this country and the only stories you can find are about one beating up a lieing, cheating, opportunist who got aressted but not charged.Man,that's sad.

Police Donation Saves Family's Christmas
Kissimmee Police Officers Give Burglary Victim $400

POSTED: Monday, December 21, 2009

EmailPrintKISSIMMEE, Fla. -- Kissimmee police officers collected $400 and gave it to a family that had its Christmas presents stolen during a burglary.

Police officers went to 208 Browning Circle on Sunday in connection with a burglary call.

A 25-year-old woman told police that she left her home at noon on Saturday and returned later that night and found items, including Christmas presents she had purchased for her two children, had been stolen, Kissimmee police said.

Officers collected $400 to assist the woman in replacing the gifts and also received donations from The Home Depot and Publix to help the family.

"This gesture shows the character of the Kissimmee Police Department employees," said Kissimmee Police Chief Fran Iwanski, "We not only hire those who can enforce the laws, but someone with the compassion for the citizens in the community they protect

NORTH LAS VEGAS, Nev. - An off-duty Las Vegas police officer killed in a shootout with intruders in his own garage grew up in Yakima, where he graduated in 1997 from Davis High.

Trevor Nettleton was killed just after midnight Thursday.

"He was standing in the garage with the garage door open when he was attacked by multiple suspects," said North Las Vegas police Officer Chrissie Coon. "It looks like it was an attempted robbery. There was an exchange of gunfire."

Nettleton, 30, was married with a 2-year-old son and 2-month-old daughter and had been with Las Vegas police three years, police said.

Nettleton's family was in the house during the shooting, including his mother, who was visiting for the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday.

Speaking with KING 5 News, Nettleton's stepfather, Peter Austern, who lives in Tacoma, said Trevor was working in the garage, making a toy for his son, when the shooting occurred.

Austern said Trevor was shot in the chest, and managed to make it inside the house, where his mother was just coming out of the guest room.

"She had no idea what was going on," he said. "She put him in her lap ... he died in her arms," said Austern.

Trevor's brother, Ryan, just returned home to Tacoma, on emergency leave from his post in Iraq.

He said since their parents were both Washington State Troopers, both he and his brother dreamed about becoming police officers from an early age.

"He wanted to be a cop so bad when we were kids, and I wanted to be one, too," he said. "So we decided the best way to pursue that goal was to become military service members."

Trevor was a 10-year Marine Corps vet who served in the Bush White House.

Police said plans were being made for a funeral with full departmental honors.

Ryan Nettleton is now on emergency leave from Iraq, home in Tacoma before traveling to Las Vegas for services.

"I'm going to say goodbye to my brother, I'm more worried about my mother. It's bad enough when a parent outlives a child, but to have your child die in your arms from a murder. I can't imagine.," he said.

"Can you imagine anything more horrific than this?" said Austern.

The family has set up an account at Wells Fargo Bank, called the Ryan Nettleton Relief Fund.

Three people have been arrested in the case. Saul Williams Jr., 20, was booked in a North Las Vegas jail on multiple charges, including murder with a deadly weapon, authorities said. Prentice Marshall, 18, was being treated for non-life-threatening injuries, and will be booked in jail once he is released from the hospital. A 17-year-old, who name was not released because he's a minor, was booked on the same charges and held at the juvenile detention center.

I hope no one man handled these poor kids when they were arrested for killing this worthless cop who was just in his garage minding his own business, and died protecting his family.I mean these enterprising young men were just trying to make a living, right? These guys are eating your tax dollars while the officers kids go to sleep at night without a father

I beleive there are ALOT more good people in blue protecting us than bad any day.

Yeah, I was taught to respect police too. That was back in the day when the police respected human life and joined the force to serve and not be served.

I'm not going to change your opinion. You seem to like it right where you are.

This has to be one of the most moronic comparisons I've ever seen in the history of posting in the internet.

You're trying to make a comparison between a guy taking a video and three murderous punks and claiming they are even remotely in the same category?

Ok, you're right. I'm wrong. Cops are wonderful protectors of society (But I am curious as to where they were when this guy needed them in his garage?)

Haha that's funny.I either believe what you believe or I have my head up my as# and I'm wrong? You're right you my friend are the real patriot here.I will sleep much easier now knowing Tony has our back out there.Disband the police and hell why do we need the fire dept either.Have you ever need them?If not then they are out to.

The world according to Tony. How long have you been in politics?Or are you trying to make the world better from your keyboard?
