Another one bites the dust

Chris was driving through Pasadena today and saw a bunch of fire trucks in front of a bakery, one of the trucks had a ladder extended to the roof. He drove around back to the top of a parking structure and this is what he found. Right in the middle of the picture is a charred bowl fan that had been cut off the roof.

From what I could see it looks like the restaurant (Mi Piace) was closed for renovations but the bakery may or may not have been open for business--it was too hard to tell and the Firemen immediately asked me to leave when I crossed the street for a closer look.

I would have loved to have gone inside and take more photos.
