AMS Oil?

Yea I started using their 2 stroke oil about 15 years ago. Ran it 100:1 and never lost an engine and never fouled another plug.
Ran their 10w30 in my personal pick up for a few years. Changed oil once a year and filter at 6 months. Seemed fine.
I decided I preferred the change often with cheaper oil method over the really expensive oil with extended drain intervals.
I still run it in my sandrail but i still change it very often.

Until a couple of years ago my son and I campaigned a 2-stoke shifter race kart and were required to use it because they sponsored the series. It was fine, but no better or worse than Castrol or other brands.

A few years back I read an article in Car & Driver about motor oil THAT said to look on the bottle and make sure it meets the engine mfg's SAE standards and then buy the cheapest oil that does so. I run Nappa synthetic in 4-strokes and it's way cheaper than the brands that advertise continually on TV.

I've seen those demos toooo many times to care. I think synthetic is well worth it and that's all I use. My work engines look brand new inside with 1000's of hours and seems like no wear.

I've only ever heard good things about amsoil but never tried it, run mobil 1 mostly.

When we had the dry clean delivery vehicles we would put close to 50k per year on them.

I got tired of getting the oil changed on them all the time. First I went to am soil but the rep was too slow so I switched to Mobil 1.

I ended up changing brakes and oil on them between 10 and 20k miles. Except for the dodge caravans that only got 10k on sets of brakes!

Never had any problems with them at all.

I am an Amsoil dealer too. Use it in every engine I own. PW runs cooler & quieter. Will definitely make it last longer. Saved a ton of $ in the long run by fewer oil changes, running more efficient, and lasting longer.
