All Jobs Are Different
Everyone experiences this situation You bid a job and maybe and they require more insurance, bonding ,background checks or even a drug check (Some of my accounts require it especially at the refinery's.) You either Comply or pass on the job. Also a hot topic is wastewater or Greywater issues.
,Now to the issue at hand I have always complied with the city of Houston and Dallas and other cities I work in.
The city Houston says if you use pressure washer (doesn't matter how many gallons per minute non heated) and no chemicals in the water you may put the water down the storm sewer providing you have filtered it correctly.( be happy to email anyone a copy from the city of Houston.)
Also if their is a job with the following statement : The washer must be able to collect and dispose of the matter without sending it down the sewer.
If you are interested and have all your insurance and etc. in order, I would comply or Pass on the Job
I will be getting necessary permits as the job requirements change until than I will continue to use a subcontract company for disposal of gray water that has necessary permits and follows a city or companies regulations.
finally, sometimes statements about laws aren't always black and white as in this case :Houston now requires recovery anywhere on anything
This is not a accurate statement
