Advice on hot water unit

We have been looking at several units and we cant seem to find one manufacturer that makes a really hot water unit. Everyone seems to tell us that obtaining a pressure washer at 3500psi 6gpm running at 270 degress is out of the question. I know that there is plenty of manufacturers that claim 230 degrees however I am hesitant to drop the money for fear of not being able to return the unit for the lack of temperature. Is there anyone that can be recommended to build a custom unit or are we just going up creek without a paddle? Thanks

We are cleaning storefronts, dumpsters, walkways ect. However we are looking into cleaning parking garages in the near future.

Get a temperature gauge or the lazer pistol kind (harbor freight has them on sale for $30.00 for the cheap one right now) and go to different manufacturers and have them crank up a unit and see how hot it can get.

That way you know what you might be buying and nobody can pull a fast one on you and you will know exactly what you might be buying.

That is some serious heat, Got to keep an eye on your hoses and "o" rings. Remember your outlet temp is dependent upon your inlet temp also. But to hit 270 , you could talk with the guys at farleys. They make coils for most manufactures and have replacement for almost all they could tell you what coil you need, and the quantity of fuel to burn for their coil.

sounds like a 880,000 BTU @ 6gph burner if you run the 1/2" smaller coils, If you run the bigger 3/4" landa SLT/SLX 300 foot coils you could burn less fuel and have the same heat rise.

We are finding out that virtually everything has to be upgraded when trying to hit those temps. Thanks for the info.

Mike,

What machine are you using to get up to 240?

Where can I get more info on your white hot units?
