I've tried in golfers digest in my area for detailing, not one call lol, may try again when I'm setup for fleet in the future.
 
Sounds good for business. When I had a remodeling co up in nj there was a local news print that came out every Thursday just like this. Think it cost about $120 per month for a 4x4 spot and $80 for a business card size under that service section. Both were by far the best roi on advertising I ever did especially work under $1000 small tile and door installs. It was only black and white and great. Not only did it get my phone ringing the consumers were much more likely to become customer s. By far the best money advertising consistently I spent.

3rd door knocking with postcards
4th door hangers when dooring to homes with nobody home.
Worst valpack $6000 maybe 5 calls no closed jobs.
I do think mass mailers will work better for PW and service businesses because the cost of services is lower than a bathroom remodel but I've been wrong before.
