I was asked this in Email from a pressure washer who I know, rather then try to explain I would like to see what the board has to say on this subject. (also posting on PWNA board).

I have talked to PW people that have never heard of PWNA and they have been around for awhile. This makes me think that the PWNA is not targeting places where the average PW would go, like dealers who deal with the Contractors often. I have yet to see a major PW Manufacturing Company promote PWNA on their site, which could lead their end user to sign up. I have an interest in joining the PWNA, but do not feel that for $200.00 I should be the one to promote it in my area.
What exactly do you get for signing up? If they are smart, then they would include items like a shirt and hat so that they could get some promotion.

Now I do recall I got a mug when I joined, I also got or bought or won a hat at the convention in Vegas, not sure which but I have it and it is a nice hat and yes I wear it again
