A Discussion about selling and your personality type

Everyone can be effective at making a sale as long as they accept what works for one, may not work for others. I have a discussion started at my board about this topic. I am not averse to discussing here but I want to first get a feel for everyone's personality type and some may not feel comofrtable discussing selling startegy and their personal information in a public forum. I posted a link to a five minute questionaire which will help youu identify your personality type. This type of stuff fascinates me. Would love for anyone to join in.

Ken, how about the five different personality types there are to sell.

Its been awhile but i might remember them. I'm not sure what type Iam, yes i do.

I'm the guy that doesnt want any BS, just tell me the bottom line and lets roll.

I have not joined your discussions, I truly have no issues sharing here. In eight years I keep getting stronger and bigger from open forums and people that are my direct competition cant seem to figure out what i do.

I recently had a WP call my customer and ask him why he uses me. It was a great compliment. Because we treat it like a business, most of the guys that approach him never come from that angle. They are a new start up or partime. He told them Rons in it for the long haul, he keeps us up to date and informs us and watches propertys and washes like there his own.

I had never realized this was my projection, often you get lazy and forget thats the payday stuff.

Ken, your truly welcome to Market your BBS here and sell whatever you may like. Please market it in the dist. forums... We will leave this one because Its mindlessblabering section.
 
Ron, come on over and join the discussion. Its a contractor's candid section. There is no advertisement from distributors, manufacturers or discussions of products or anything. Just stuff that contractors want to discuss but do not need the general public to have access to. It makes the discussions more like sitting around a round table in jeans with a beer in front of you. These forums (yours, Bob's, TGS etc) are vital.. This one is just a bit different as the discussions are more focused on sharing technique to profit versus how to clean. Most guys don't want that type of information given out.
