6.7oz 1 day old, Please pray for my little guy

Yesterday night my wife went into labor 1 month early, They had to do an emergency C- section, When the baby arrived, he took about 15 min, to wake up and cry.

Soon after they noticed his breathing was very strained, they put him on an oxygen tank but that did not improve his vitals, soon after about 3 hours after deliver he crashed, and they did an emergency intubation, the nurse used a hand pump to keep him alive for 20 minuets untill lifeflight came with a specialiast from texas childrens, They soon removed the hand pump, and now he is on life support, at texas childrens. They are saying he may be 6.07oz but his lungs are that of a 3 pounder.

My wife has only seen him for 1 min right after delivery, and he his now not even in the same hospital as us, If he does recover he will be in the NICU for over a month.

Please pray for my family and my little guy, he is a fighter.

My grandson was early @ 3.3 oz's and 2 months early because his mom had Preaclempsia it was tough going but he pulled thru. They are tougher than you think, keep the faith I am sure he will pull thru fine.
 
Hey John congrats and our prayers are with you. My grand daughter was 3 lb 9 oz and is now bigger than her twin brother that was 5 lb 1 oz at birth. They are resilient little things and he will do fine. You have a great hospital there to care for your little one. Don't give up the faith.

Congratulations and good luck. My little girl was born with DiGeorge Syndrome (hole in her heart and almost non-existent immune system). Shes had more surgeries than most in a lifetime. Shes bout to turn 6 in Jan. and shes 99% recovered. Keep your hope alive no matter what.

My son was born 4 weeks early to the day (although at 7 lbs 7 oz). He was in NICU for 5 days for lung problems also. It was tough! He's now 5 and the biggest kid in his class.
 
Prayers are on the way for your little guy and your family.

My sister was a preemie and they never thought she would make it. She is now 44yrs old and has a family of her own. Just think how far research has come since then. I''m sure all will be fine.

Keep strong! Babies are tough, my oldest daughter was born at 3lb and 11 oz. I will pray for you!

A 9 yr old little girl past away here near the same time your little man was born.....
God has a way of keeping things balanced.....
We pray Your little man will make a speedy recovery and live a long healthy life.
Keep your faith strong......nothing is imposable with God!!
