Just got this funny little story from a good customer:

$50 dollar lesson:
I recently asked my friends' little girl what she wanted to be when she grows up. She said she wanted to be President someday. Both of her parents, liberal Democrats, were standing there, so I asked her, 'If you were President what would be the first thing you would do?' She replied, 'I'd give food and houses to all the homeless people.' Her parents beamed with pride.
'Wow...what a worthy goal.' I told her, 'But you don't have to wait until you're President to do that. You can come over to my houseRight-click here to download pictures. Then I'll take you over to the grocery store where the homeless guy hangs out, and you can give him the $50 to use toward food and a new house.'
She thought that over for a few seconds, then she looked me straight in the eye and asked, 'Why doesn't the homeless guy come over and do the work, and you can just pay him the $50?'
I said, 'Welcome to the Republican Party.' Her parents still aren't speaking to me.

NOW FASTFORWARD TO 2015:

‘Welcome to the Tea Party!.’ The gentleman with $50 to pay someone to mow his lawn—well he’s only got $25 now because increased taxes to pay for the President’s socialized medicine program has resulted in increased income tax and eliminated the favorable long term capital gain tax rate. But the homeless guy isn’t going to do the work because he already has free healthcare, and if you are going to 1099 him, he loses his social security benefits to boot. The guy that used to cut the lawn can’t be reached because Sheriff Joe locked him and his family up and sent them back to Mexico. By the way, the new landscaping company charges $75 because the President requires them to cover all their workers with healthcare insurance. Unfortunately the homeowner is now just a renter because he lost his house after his investments evaporated because the stock market collapsed after interest rates went to double digits following the run up of Treasure Bill interest rates due to the huge deficit overhang from the socialized medical program. And the homeowner can’t mow the lawn himself because of back problems which can’t be treated for 6 months due to the backlog of new homeless people getting free healthcare who are in line to see the back doctor. That lawn’s never getting’ mowed!

Suddenly I’m feeling bullish on herbicide stock. (Monsanto, BASF, Bayer, Dow, DuPont) You heard it from me first!

LOL !!! I've been an optimist all my life, and still try to be. But with the current Mafia government and the outrageous debt that our great grandchildren will still be paying off, I'm afraid the future for America and Americans has never been dimmer.

Hope for the best and prepare for the worst.

I loved the first story, but the second one seems implausible cause water will be going for around $40 a gallon by then so all lawns will naturally be dead.

Good stories!

I think were doomed !! Now we have the Great oil spill of 2010 the whole Gulf coast will be a waste land.
