48 Inch Surface Cleaner- Looks awesome!

Mike mentioned that he had to finish it and was going to build a few for his crew.

Might be very busy with the holidays and cold weather.

I asked Mike V what happened with the 48" surface cleaner in another thread. Here is his reply.

It is completed and runs like a champ, the only flaw in my design that needs correcting was not taking into account the tension on the belt between the pulleys and then of course the drive shaft making it VERY difficult to pull start. I broke multiple starter ropes before figuring it out. But with all new ideas, there is a learning curve and additional work that needs to be done. I know how I am going to correct it and make it more user friendly for the field but I've been traveling quite a bit and busy with kids and basketball so put it on the backburner. I will post video when done.

The Turbo Twister had a clutch like device on the engine pulley that it could idle and no spray bar turning, this might be a good idea so there is no tenstion on the belts until the engine is spinning faster than idle, this might help with the issue.

I need to finish it. I have been busy and have a bad case of ADD!!! Lose interest, move on to other things then will come back. I just got back in town, been in Orlando on other business and know I need to get it finished. I will post pics.

Chris, I called you after you left the message today but it went straight to voicemail.

Sorry I missed your call, Hope things are going good over there.

I know some of us are excited about this machine you are making.

Alright, Here it is running, no spray bars on. Just needed to get everything aligned and tension set. No I have some minor detail work to do and need to get a couple spray bars ordered, will also need a new swivel as one of these is about shot. Maybe the Power Wash Store wants to help with the prototype costs!

Looks great Mike.
