4000 psi and 4 gpm

Soft wash advice required....

My pressure washer throws 4000 psi cold water and 4 gpm.

1. What sized tips orifice should I use to keep a quality stream of detergent flowing.

2. Currently towing 100' of heavy pressure hose around, can I replace it with a lesser weigh type of hose?

3. If a home is not affected by mould/mildew is it necessary to add SH into the wash down mix?

4. Any ones thoughts on the adjustable type of nozzle?

I think I've got a reasonable detergent mixture organised so I should be OK there.

Input will be appreciated as my brief marketing effort is having a reasonable good effect. Always the way.... shooting the adds out before I'm even half way prepared.

Thanks

1.) Google pressure washer tip chart
2.) You can use single braid pressure hose. But as long as youre using the pressure washer you need pressure rated hose.
3.) That is a personal preference. YES, you can just use a detergent and exclude the SH. You'll have to decide if there are any signs of mold/mildew.
4.) Another personal preference - with small units like yours these tips may have a home, but with the big guys they're probably used for a hammer before they touch a gun.

Appreciate you taking the time to answer me however, the chart you mentioned would be great if I needed 4000 psi tips.... I want to reduce the pressure to a more "softwash" status... hence I would require larger orifice. Was hoping to get some actual tip sizes ie 20 x 15*.

Bob at Pressure Tek was real helpful getting me set up with the right tips. Also use the strip that holds all four tips. This is my first year and Bob has been really great answering all my inane questions!
