Post treating will not really help that unless you use full strength SH, because of the darker areas. I would do it again and then post treat it with a strong mix.

When cleaning driveways, pick your longest point and go back and forth (fastest way) and let the hose follow you through the cleaned areas(you wont be fighting hose.)

That type of driveway are the hardest to clean and I charge more for them, especially if they are really dirty.

If this was post treated what would be the difference? The clean areas cleaner and the dirty areas clean.? Would stripes be gone or just less noticeable ?

The mold/algae would have been killed. And it would take a little longer for those missed bands to reappear. I am starting to figure this out. If the stripes are tan in color with two different shades, that is a phenomenon that has to do with the way the surface cleaner hits the surface, sort of like the stripes you see when you mow a lawn. They will go away with a post treat or
even just waiting for the concrete to dry. If there is a hint of black, then the driveway wasn't cleaned good enough and the lines will come back. Even if you post treat and kill the algae/mold it seems new algae/mold is attracted to the dead sections. Not sure if it is a food source or the old stuff comes back to life, but that's what I am noticing.

I understand about the black or regrowth of the mold, not the tan stripes left after the cleaning. Was heat used on this driveway? And if not would the heat or hot water help in the removal of lightening of the tan stripes?. If no hot water was used how about a hotter mix or a longer dwell time? I try different methods of hotter mix, with a surfactant , but my driveway dose not gets dirty fast enough for all the testing. Still trying to get a better handle on this myself.
