water under the bridge...not going to get controversial or bring up old disagreements. first time I had been on in a long time..seen where ron had bumped this recently so I put a ? mark why...(not that I was trying to bring it up)
Really it was the first post and just curious about the response i would get
Welcome back Al. I'm not trying to get controversial. I'm trying to get to the facts.
That statement you made about contractors going to be forced out of business unless they invest $20-30k in reclaim equipment was told to you by someone. You didn't make that up by yourself. Whoever that was talked you into buying equipment based on that assumption.
My question to you was after 4 years do you still believe that statement. I don't understand why that is controversial.
When I first started my filter cleaning business I spent almost $50k on ultrasonic equipment. I later sold it all off for pennies when it was useless to me. I'm sure I went around places telling people that you can't clean filters properly without ultrasonics at one tome or another when I didn't know better. If someone asked me "would you stand by that statement now?" I would jump on the rooftops to exclaim how wrong I was to keep others from making the same costly mistake.
I don't understand why you won't either say "Yes" or "no".
The other question was if your investment "paid off".
Well, my ultrasonics investment paid off. But not in the way I thought it would. It saved me a LOT of money afterwards because I was more leary of manufacturers claims and less likely to spend large amounts of money without testing on a small scale first. See, that's an easy question to answer.
Why does everything have to be controversy or drama? Can't we just talk straight talk to one another like men?
