24 ft. Extension wand

Thank goodness I found this forum just as I got started in the biz and right off the bat was introduced to the ball valve for house washing...Fast forward to this week, land a few decent house and drive seal jobs in upper class areas and thought to myself (BIG MISTAKE) "I bet if I had one of those extension wands I would draw ALOT more attention..

So off to Northern I go to grab up a 24 footer, get it to the job, hook it up and OH MY FREEKIN GOD !!!!. I have fought grown men with alot less effort, It could be my getting old and weak, maybe had something hooked wrong on the belt... BUT if I was anywhere near right on any part of it , I have to wonder what would make anyone in their right mind purchase one of these GOD FORSAKEN CONTRAPTIONS.

If anyone is using one with out being under a constant ball drawing strain...Please let me know how.

Now thats funny :D :D everyone makes that mistake.Bring it back and get yourself some light aluminum extentions in 3ft 6ft 8ft.

Don't feel bad, Even though we new better, we took on a large apartment complex, so we bought the "lightweight aluminum" 24' just in case we had to reach some tough areas.
We already had one Ladder Saver, before we finished the 4 level building complex, we invested in 2 more laddersavers.
As earlier posts I have used and tested hosebarbs, 0030 washjet nozzles and x-jet these only misted at that height (now add the 24' extension). the laddersaver was the only thing that was able to get up there with any water volume.
Our 3 man team cleaned 2 buildings a day, along with the Main office/lobby,mailbox areas, couple pool areas and all their garages a day in under 6 days.

If I have to use one for more than 20 minutes, I rent a lift. I have gone longer, but usually it is my neck that suffers, not my arms.

hahahaha I did that about 13 years ago with a gutter attachment and a 40 degree tip ! I had a 96 in wand and a couple of 4 foot extentions and added a gutter hook ..... stuck it in the gutter pulled the trigger ...... wham boom bam zeek pow !

I will let you figure the rest out

But when the whole ride was over I stopped and had to look around to see who saw it ! Thank God no one did ?

The result ? wands and extentions looked like a U-BOLT

I am not crazy about the extandawands but they are a tool that comes in handy on certain jobs.

I could not get a manlift or my bucket truck to the back of this property to clean this building so I brought my extendawands. I got to use the bucket truck for 2.5 days and the extendawand for 1.5 days and it does take it's toll.

I do have that belt but it is not that good, could not get the wand positioned correctly using the belt so no belt after the first hour, arms very tired. I only have about 2 or 3 hours left tomorrow and then the extendawands will go back into storage until they are needed again.
