Okay, here I go with more newbie questions...

Everyone says 4 GPM+. Many say 5GPM. Brian was thinking 5-6GPM, but we must be shopping in the wrong places. For example, I just came off of Delco's web site... max I found was 4.8GPM. Where do I find the higher GPM machines? Am I just blind or something? Or is 4.8 plenty? We don't want to decide we need a new machine in a few months! Help!

Also, wanted to check out Landa... do they have a web page?

Thanks guys and gals,
Christi

Take a second look at delco..........my delco machines are both 3000psi@5.5 gpms and they were about $3800 each, three years ago.

:( hmmmmm...

I wonder why landa won't come up for me... I tried landa.com and it didn't seem to work. Guess I'll try again.

Thanks guys,
Christi

OK, got into Landa's site, and even found the right stuff at Delco. Guess I should stop researching before I start missing obvious stuff, huh? That is, before I get so tired I can't see. I think that from now on, I'll have to shut down the computer a little sooner. Maybe that will even keep me from having the pressure washing dreams that I have been having lately!

Ron,

It is common for some manufacturers to over rate their machines,
some do it more than others and have been doing that for years.

I can understand rounding off to the nearest full gallon if we are only
talking several tenths of a gallon.

But some get REALLY carried away if you know what I mean!

I guess we are guilty on our Terminator 8 @ 3000 PSI, the last one
I ran was putting out 7.8 GPM not a full 8 GPM, I explained to the
customer when he ordered the machine that the GPM may vary plus
or minus 5%. He told me as long as I could deliver 7.5 GPM @ 3000 PSI
he would be happy. (He is Happy!)
:)

GPM

Better think about buying a new machine in a couple of months because your machine puts out too much! Unless you want to carry water you may not get the required volume alot of times. I have a 4.7 gpm and find I cant get enough volume even at commercial jobs. Just a thought.

My Landa puts out 4.8gal@3000psi which I also find at some residential areas the water gpm does NOT come out much faster then that and sometimes even slower. I have tanks to compensate for low gpm but I'd rather not have to deal with them if I don't have to.
