2 bars in 1 month

you must have terrible luck haha!
Mine are the original ones.
One is a little over a year old, one is about 10 months old.
 
Are you inspecting the area and removing debris before you clean? I'm with Jeremy, mine still look and function like new after a year and a half (granted, my SC doesn't get used on a daily basis).
 
I've never bent a arm but had to replace a few skirts. I hit a rock with mine the other night, it spun out and it a window. I thought for sure it broke the window but it didn't. I always walk the area to and clear any debris out of the way, some how I just missed it though.
 
I know a guy who busted out a $600 window at the DMV.
Sucks to be him.
He was using one of those steel eagle machines without the skirts though

What kind of bars? Are they replaceable? I have been lucky the last few years, just busted one from a loose drain cap in the cement - always clean around any of those. My bars are 1/4" sch 40 threaded pipe.
