2,000 flyers today!

This cost us 11 dollars to do on our own. I'll post result after I get them all passed out tonight! Trying to be ready for next week when I'll be 100% on my own. Flyers are great, but as with any direct mail you're lucky to get 3% response. I close eight out of ten times when I approach a homeowner working in her yard or walking to his mailbox. The personal selling works way better, but do what you gotta do. I work mainly in gated communities where flyers are prohibited, so I must be creative.
 
I threw this flyer together the other day. I borrowed some text from a gutter cleaning flyer Jeff Lecours has posted somewheres around here. Havent really made any plans for it yet. Maybe send it to all homeowners we gave estimates for last year. I plan on sending a letter or flyer to all customers from last year offering them this special as well as 10% off to follow up on Christmas cards sent earlier

Im looking for something that POPs! a bit more than the average got any ideas I can run with?
 
I've been using door hangers from 123print.com. I put them in the flag at the mail box. They seem to work good.

Try Postcard Mania or mail them yourself. A guy Names AC uses this crazy thing called a Rock Bag. Try it!!
 
Haha I hate rock bags. I have been so tempted to call the people who throw them and tell them to come get their garbage out of my driveway. But, that would just tip them off that I opened it and read their ad. My wife is a graphic designer. She is working on a card for me and I believe a mailing list. Better go check. Thanks
 
I had jumbo post cards and did same as the rock bags in a neighborhood and a guy called me complaining. I smiled as I hit the end button. I have 400 rock bags ready to go Saturday night ready for Sunday morning paper people. I have 3600 more to prep after that!
 
Apart from the website we havent advertised any for residential since late May. Weve actually taken on a small flurry of house washes in the last few weeks that almost make me wish we did have thousands of postcards out. Residential customers are so hard to figure out. The wind blows from the south west at 10.5 mph one day and the phone rings. lol
