I figure you could if you go with a inverter... Lets see 1/3 hp blower motor about 5 amps and the burner at about 5 amps say 10 amps x 120 volts = 1200 watts .. So get a 1200 continuous watt inverter and then have at it ... I tried a 1500 watt inverter on my machine a couple of nights ago and it worked for about 45 minutes and then my truck wouldn't start.. So we had to jump start it , good thing my wife was in the other truck... I figure if you can rig up a belt drive alternator on your machine belt driven and then hook the inverter to your battery that would work... But you know I like 110 volt because usually the generators are about 800 watts more than what you need to run the burner so this leaves room for some lights on demand....
Or turn the burner off and plug in the old coffe pot for some midnight caffiene... I would stay with the 110volt burner and if you dont have a generator get you one about 2000 watts continuous and you should be OK

This is only my idea ..... So I would really listen to what the wizard has to say.... Hey I wonder how many windmill generators it would take to power my burner ....

We have a tester amp/volt and the 110 peaked around 1990 volts at start. I looked at some inverters and they need to be within 6 feet of the battery source.
Why didn't you leave the truck running?

I also came to the conclusion that a 2000 watt inverter with a peak of 3000 would be good.

Leave the truck running ... If I did that I would be too smart... Well you live and you learn... That was the day I did three cleanings in one day and that was the last cleaning .. on the first 2 I used an extension cord , but the last job I used the inverter... I wont do it again... I ordered 2 generators off of ebay yesterday.. One is a coleman 3000 watt and one is a Honda 4000 watt that I won..
