10 Gas Stations

Starting on 10 gas stations tonight. They have 66 total...we are doing 10 within the next 2 days....Very Excited about this contract, have waited along time for it!!!!

It was an easy sell, the last guy doing it used COLD WATER AND DID IT ON SATURDAYS AT 2:00 PM....... he would shut down have the station...

We are doing it the right way - Hot Water and Overnight

Love to see people getting lots of work ;)

I do one shopping center and the guy was using cold water and was washing it at 12 noon  and it has food places in it and they were not happy that their customers were being washed too :D Late nights only for me.

Jeff - Nate is not full time yet. I am though....I do the "day shift" haha lol.:)

Nate works with me nights and weekends. Just a few more large contracts and he should quit.... so he says.

Being a trucker is in his blood - his dad has done it since we was 19 so Nate has grown up with it.

We wont sleep until tuesday it seems like

Friday- 4 gas stations
Saturday - Trucking Company 100 Trailers & 100 Dock Doors & 4 more stations.

Sunday - 1 Resturaunt and 3 Fuel stations

Monday - 15 Townhouses & Fillmore Auditorium (Concert Place - Front Entrance, basically Gum Hell 15,000 Sq Ft) -> An all nighter

Tuesday - More townhouses and SLEEP

Congrats on all the work. I have just one thing to say. Are y'all nuts...LOL. That is alot of work to do in a few days time and at night with no sleep. Keep the coffee pot on! :) Good luck with the new contract.

Is your monthly work consistently like that? If so, then you really need to reprioritze when Nate works. He can drive casual for a lot of companies, and get his driving fix, (and it is a fix!) or you can go after some accounts where he has to jockey trucks to wash them. Trust me, your life will be better if he goes to washing full time, and if worse comes to worse, he can maintain his CDL, and use it for grins and giggles from time to time. That is what I do.

Scott - Yes, this is pretty basic for us. Our weekends are packed and during the week I do residential by myself for the most part. Your preaching to the choir about Nate.....but he is a stubborn boy for sure. When he quits we lose his very nice benefits package, medical coverage. We just have to make sure its the right time to do it. We are okay right now, but if we get anything else he has to quit.

I certainly don't know your situation, but rather than Nate quitting his job and subsequently losing medical and other benefits, perhaps you could hire someone?

Except that no one will take care of your customers, or equipment like you do.

Nicole, there are options for insurance and such. You can do one of the employee leasing agencies for benefits. The hardest part is the retirement, but they might be able to help you with that, as well.

Give him the approach. You cannot afford to continue to work him into the ground. 7 days all work makes one weak.
