JL Pressure Washing
Hello, my name is Bob, owner of Flavor King in Socastee, SC. I had the misfortune of employing Mr. Dixon to pressure wash my hooded exhaust fan on Feb. 25, 2007. The reason I selected Mr. Dixon was he was referred to me by a friend and his prices are about half of others performing the same task. . After Mr. Dixon finished cleaning the hood, I immediately noticed that the fan was not running properly, it would come on and shut off for about 10 minutes. I informed Mr. Dixon that the fan ran all the time before his cleaning. He said that some fans are on a timer and that it was working properly. For whatever reason I believed him. My first mistake. I called Mr. Dixon the next day and he gave me the phone number of a serviceman. He came that day and told me that the motor was damaged and had to be replaced. I asked him how that could have happened and he said that debris sometimes can get into the motor during a cleaning. After informing Mr. Dixon of this he gave me his word that he would pay half of the cost to replace the motor. After 2 weeks passed the motor was finally replaced and now Mr. Dixon refuses to pay his half. Don't be deceived by low prices and Mr. Dixon constantly saying he doesn't like to talk bad about anyone ( but that's all he does). He is not respected by those who know him in his industry. This man is not to be trusted.

Just found this on the net on the Rip Off Report. You know you think people would use their brains, if its half the price of others, maybe there's a reason

I don't kow this company but I guess he won't be getting this job anymore

I do not know Mr. Dixon, but it's possible you aren't getting th whole story here. At least he cleaned the fan. If Robert waited 2 weeks for the fan to get fixed then what was he exhausting his kitchen with? I seriously doubt he shut the kitchen down for 2 weeks....I would like to hear Mr. Dixon's side of the story.
