Scary stuff

Talk about some scary stuff...there needs to be one hell of a revolution in this country again

We've all fell victim to the whole recycle or die scare stuff, now it's the global warming crap...it just opened the door for things like this.

Notice how Global Warming is being changed into a term that's more "PC" and difficult to dispute: Global Climate Change. While one can debate whether or not the earth is warming, it's impossible to debate that the earth is experiencing climate change.

I wouldnt even say you can dispute that the earth is warming...RIGHT NOW...this decade...But whats debatable is whether it is man made. I for one, believe it is not, I believe it is cyclical. There are people that say "Well what if we do nothing, and it is caused by us". Thats all fine and well, but when the government starts making laws requiring us to buy a certain type of light bulb (which is hazardous to health if broken. But then again, nothing matters more than the earth, not even you), banning water bottles, taxing us and additional 1 trillion dollars to combat "global warming" (john mcain), I believe it is time to revolt and take our country back out of the hands of the beurocrats. Stop letting them take our hard earned money and redistributing it like some kind of communist throwback government, stop letting them scare us about what kind of car we drive, etc. It happened once in this country, and I guarantee it'll happen again. We ALL Have guns now :D

Scott, just last week I heard it reported that the earth has been cooling for the last decade, though ocean temperatures have risen slightly. Some reports say that ice is thickening in some parts of the world while melting in others.

These apparently contradictory reports are the reasons the term "Global Warming" is being phased out and "Global Climate Change" is being phased in. That way, if the earth warms or cools, if the ice thickens or thins, it doesn't matter. "Global Climate Change" covers it all.

I think we should be exploring all kinds of alternitive energys. Mainly to decrease being so depended on oil and 2nd I think whole new industries could be formed and that could bring many jobs in our country , unless we ship all the technoligies & jobs out of the states. With new energy forms it also could help the enviroment too, whether its warming or not. I think we all know burning fossil fuels does contribute to pollution. I think less pollution, more jobs and decreased energy cost is a good thing.

The earth has been warming up every year since the ice ages.

They are great movies arent they

Guess you got kids too.

That squirrel kills me. Theres a new Ice Age coming out later this year or next

Maybe they will do an Ice Age movie about global warming and they'll have Al Gore do a voice over LOL

I agree we should look into alternative energy, but make no mistake, we will be using oil for decades to come. Certain special interest-groups do not want drilling in ANWR or other areas shown to have high concentrations of recoverable oil. These same groups oppose building new refineries. The truth of the matter is, prices will not go down (another issues these same groups like to complain about) until America has more refineries and can tap less expensive reserves. Most Americans want us to lower our dependence on foreign oil, but the only way to do that is to tap into our own reserves. Either we keep sending billions and billions of American dollars to Saudi Arabia, Mexico, Canada, etc. or we start tapping into our reserves.

I had a good bit more typed up by I deleted it because I didn't want to get political :D

We should of let Saddam Hussien years ago go right through Kuwait and into Saudi Arabia, let him wipe all them out and then we should of gone in and killed him and taken over and put a big American flag up in our new country USA of The Middle East. Then we would have had all the oil we need.

Oh well wishful thinking I guess

Americans will pay $10 a gallon if we have to you and they all know it and you are right we do love our oil

Now if I could just harness the energy of my two crazy kids I could run a few machines, those kids never stop LOL

This is the same debate the cavemen had before that ice age thing came in.
