The guy just emailed me, hasn't got back to my questions like what chassis is it ?
I wonder if it is a commercial truck chassis with, or simply an F350 with a body built around it ?

Looks like it would make a good ice cream truck. You could sell to all the people that stand around watching you guys work on the roofs. :)

Had a queer uncle who sold Ice Cream.
He was a "Dairy Queen"

painted UPS truck

It could be anything from a Frtio~Lay delivery truck to a Holsum bread truck

I'd look for the GVWR on it somewhere.

We have a landscaper in this area that uses one like that - you definitely notice his truck!

It is an old grumman bodied truck. That one is probably a one ton and looks like our local DOlly Madison trucks. They sell to anybody, though, including UPS, Fedex, etc.
There used to be a guy on the boards that used a two ton. He loved it, but it was an old mail truck.

I would turn it into a clean commando swat assault vehicle. The truck would arrive at a house and pressure washing commandos would roll out the back door, climbing on top of roofs with wands and shooting any dirt in range. they would hang off the sides of the roof smiling at inocent senoritas as they sprayed with some of the Apple love. The truck would then retrieve all teams in satisfaction for a job well done, and ride into the sunset margaritaville until the next mission, yes we ride like that...

Stepvan

That truck looks like a Chevy, but the body might be utilimaster. I don't think Grumman. As for the running gear, they are usually van chassis, so E-350 if a Ford.

I have a Ford E-350 chassis under a Utilimaster stepvan body. It is all aluminum, so there is no corrosion issue in the body, but the frame is another story.

The International stepvans are way sweet, and can often have a very heavy chassis, indeed. 2-1/2 ton chassis are pretty common, and I've seen them over 5-tons.

I'm in the process of replacing mine with a trailer, because mine is pretty small, but in colder climes, they are very handy.

I'll warn you now, though: They are not easy on fuel. I get 10 on good days, and mine is a fuel injected 4.9 liter Ford straight six. Wind is your enemy.

In our work, I'd say get a big one, with a diesel, and a dually for sure. The dually set-up is more stable in wind, and while parked, and the deisel pull-power has been wished for many days in my little rig.
