Chemical injectors

Both sites have a very nice appearance and a professional layout.

If it was less then $1500 you got a good deal.

Thanks for the kind words Russ. I have a nice website but I still want to be like you when I learn how to sell and when I grow up. haha.

Really, I would like to be able to sell like you and the other big companies out there. I am still learning and have a lot to learn.

where from don?

i'm not here to bash but who was your vendor don on the sss?

thanks,

rando

Thanks Russ. I appreciate that. I was told that a link page will be built.

I would think that shipping on an injector would be a lot less than $18.00. I can send something that weighs up to 2 pounds in a USPS Priority Mail package anywhere in the continental U.S. for like under $7.00 They will even come to your door and pick it up. You can order the Priority Mail boxes, envelopes, tape, etc.... online and it is free. Just a little of your time to package it and label it.

WOW!!!!! $18.00 for shipping on 1 injector? I was told that things would change over there by a reputable guy last year. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Can't you guys

find something better to do than to bash EnviroSpec every chance you get. No we can't be everything to everyone but that does not make us bad guys.

You probably don't remember but it was me that brought the industry pricing down of contractors over 15 years ago. Before me it was just the Texas company who, as a contractor, I purchased from for years and almost went broke in doing so and your local distributor who seldom sell for less than list price.

And now - you have people (many that you know from this BBS and others) who never touch anything but rather call the Barrens or Sparymart and have everything dropshipped. Let me ask you this - could you operate on a 10-15% margin. If you think you can then you are already out of business - you just haven't realized it yet.

We have an overhead. Most others don't. Many of the people that you guy rave about are probably taking your order using a cell phone while sitting on the 'can' reading the morning news.

In defense of my company - that I started in the early 1970's - we do a pretty good job. We must - most of the people who have become our competition were contractors who have tried to copy us but without the overhead.

In short - take some advice from a proven successful contract cleaner. Quit bashing everyone in hopes someone will think highly of your comments and go to work and make some money.

Now if this starts a feeding frenzy - like it usually does with idle sharks - then be it what it may. Just remember - don't bash us and then pick up the phone and try to suck up simply because we have brought something else worthwhile to the industry that you need. Call the guys on the 'can' and see if they have it. If a couple of bucks in freight sends you crying on the BBS then I would say to you, my friend, you have a twisted idea of good business tactics.

John Allison

Now crank it up guys and get it out of your system.

Remember, most companies go broke because good men and women waste their time.

No one is necessarily "bashing" anyone. $18 is more than "a few bucks" to ship a chem injector.....period! Seems like there might be more credibility in marking up the injector rather than the s/h. Put the the shoe on the other foot and acknowledge it for what it is rather than getting all defensive about it.

Some of my potential customers read these posts, so I'll leave it now (for what it is). :)

Wow I Have Never Ordered From Mr Allison, but After Reading His Post I Would Never Give Him Any Business.its Sad He Has To Defend His Bad Business Practices Of Ripping People Off On Shipping.like Don Said Why Not Just Mark Up The Price Of The Product.by Him Bringing Something New To The Industry And Charging Stupid Shipping Prices, its Like He Is Trying To Run A Monoply And Be Like The Cable Company Etc............nice Way To Talk To Your Cutomers And Potential Customers.

handling fees?

john,

first off don't take this as a bash because i appreciate you as a vendor. your prices are fair and your delivery time is excellent but i never know what my handling fee is going to be. my last order was a box that weighed 2 lbs. my handling fee equaled 18% of my order plus shipping. do you have a table or chart that will let us know what to expect in handling fees before we order? maybe that would end some of this confusion.

thanks,

rando

I agree with Don , John I purchase from someone else but I do know a lot of my stuff is in fact drop shipped as you have stated , however I pay what I pay and I may pay more on a few items and I may pay less on others, I dont really care because I know I am not gouged on shipping , I would rather pay more for the item as Don stated than I would think I was getting a good deal and then get my chops busted when I saw the bill , I am not bashing you because I respect the fact that you have been in business double the time that I have , I am merely giving my .02 cents worth from someone who spends a decent amount of money each year , I will give more for the service than I would chase a price around the net , I dont personally have the time to by a piece here or there and try to save a buck , I like to pick up the phone and feel safe , on the other hand I have never bought anything from you , so I cant say these are your practices of business , I am only saying what I like from a vendor , I look forward to your response and I hope this thread has a positive outcome , so lets all try to remain objective and professional

thats what I am talking about I would rather pay 6.95 and 3.00 to ship , you can buy a large postal envelope and mail something like that for less than 3 dollars , my wife does it all thetime from her ebay store , again not bashing but if anyone wants to make money I feel it should be on the product not the shipping, this may not be the case here but that is the way I would look at it

I agree with what you are saying Russ! (I am not Bashing Here), I have a problem with what looks like you are getting ripped off on the shipping so when you do the math, The item you just purchased at a fantastic price, just cost a lot more than if you bought it from another place. That is what I have a problem with. (Not Bashing Here), I would rather pay more for SERVICE, SUPPORT, AND ADVICE than pay lower price and get gouged for shipping.

(NOT BASHING HERE), I don't like the idea of paying a little less for something thinking I am getting a good deal so I order more and then I don't have a clue what the shipping is until I get the bill. WOW!!!!! Now I regret the purchase as I have just fell for it again and those older thoughts re-inforce those bad feelings of "Why do I keep falling for this every time just because of the low PRODUCT PRICE, I always forget about the shipping."
(NOT BASHING).

On a positive note, as I mentioned before I really like the SSS and the prompt service that Paul Kassander provided is very appreciated.

I've heard very good things about the eplus for house/building washing also. I was considering ordering some.

I love dogs too!

ditto on paul and envirospec north...

i have used the eplus with success and am currently using the plexmaster as my wax/sealant. the plexmaster is inexpensive and makes the prettiest water beads on windows. my customers and i both love it.

Don't feel bad. When I ordered that hose I was driving back from Florida decided to stop in a envirospec to check everything out and save myself the shipping. That hose is not kept in stock. It is drop shipped from the manufacturer.
