Need Help on pressures of machine

I was told that if I want to lower my pressure I do so by turning down my unloader. I read on hear that if I want to lower my pressure to use wider tiped holes. So please put me on the straigh path

Get an adjustable wand like the suttner st-54. That way you won't have to play with things that shouldn't be played with.

If you lower the pressure with the unloader you will also reduce the gpm and wear out the springs,take longer on the job,etc.Wider tips are the correct way to go.I made the same mistake when I first started.set it and forget it.

always leave the unloader alone , the adjustable feature is there to adjust the pump output to match the washer set up gpm/psi

the only true and accurate way to adjust pressure is with different nozzles

Wider tips are the correct way to go.I made the same mistake when I first started.set it and forget it.

Wider does not reduce PSI, it just spreads it out. Large orifice tips is the best way, as they reduce pressure and maintain the flow vs any unloader tampering. A dual lance is good, but if you want to know exactly what pressure you have vs just guessing then the tips is best.
