I vote for playoffs. With playoffs, the team that is really on top of their game that goes forward, the other goes home. As Russ said above, it puts everyone on an even playing field.

I am a Gator fan, i woulda been a bit upset myself. btw us gators put the buckeyes down twice in one year.. oh its great to be a florida gator..

Not much into college football, however with the BCS moves from regional playoffs to a more national playoff. Not sure what the answer is to get more teams to ply outside of traditional rivalries.

Playoff is the way to go. I'm a huge Buckeye fan and I give props
to the gators. I'm also a Mount Union Purple Raider fan ( D-3 )
the college is in my hometown, grew up going to there games.
The playoffs work great there, it's all about the money with D-1
bowl games

A playoff will tell who the real champs are I am tired of these favored teams given special treatment you will have a 11-1 jumping over someone that is 12-0 because of who they are.

I vote for a 6 team playoff. Give the #1 & #2 BCS ranked teams a bye in the first round as a reward for finishing #1 & #2 and then settle it on the field.
