can you remove gray solid stain from concrete ?

I was at a customers house giving them a bid on doing there gutters and s&f . We were talking and they asked if I could remove the stain they put on a concrete patio. I told them I would have to see what I could do and get back to them in a day or 2.

It is a solid gray stain. Is there anything I can use to remove the stain ? The wife would like it to be natural concrete again and the husband was talking about putting down ceramic tile. I 'm for the concrete because maybe I can sell them on calling me every year to clean it.
