use of swimming pool chlorine to make concentrate to down stream

What is going to be the major difference between calcium hypochlorite and sodium hypchlorite?

Calcium hypochlorite typically produces a stronger chlorine solution as it is 65-70% in strength, whereas sodium hypochlorite is typically 10-15%.

The major difference in our exterior cleaning applications is that when calcium hypochlorite reacts with water it produces a hypochlorous acid and a calcium by-product, and when sodium hypochlorite reacts with water it produces a hypochlorous acid and a sodium by-product. This difference is key in that sodium is more soluble than calcium... ie. easier to rinse and leaves little to no residue.

You have to be careful trying to reinvent the wheel those tabs can product some very strong oders and they will foam like a rabid dog.Becareful just find a Univar or brentag near you and get some sh like the guys said it works and its easy to manage.

Been there, tried that.

It is more of a gas almost, smells a lot worse and doesn't do the job as good.

That was my experiment.

Good luck!!

Your idea is interesting but I heard that bleach is not good for health. I know its much cheap to clean the swimming pool but Its harmful. I think you should do some research about its side effect. I will also try to find some valuable views.

Yes if you swallow it or spray it directly on vegetation

When you find something that works better let the rest of us know!

Jim (innovative), if chlorine is the cheapest part of your business I'd love to know who your supplier is. Seems like every time I turn around I have to re-up at 2G's a pop. Employees seemed to not be able to use as little as me.
Ed,on a typical house wash ($495) you are only using about $10-15 in chems and soap.

calcium hypo as a booster?

so the calcium produces more a gas..i've been trying to use it to add with the sh for a booster on massive apts complex since they pay very little..well second thought
i will just use the 10' lance with xjetted foamer with weaker sh maybe this'll get me thru it

james..still wondering how well your new tips work with a 3gpm i have a xjet type thing that does shoot 3 stories but uses sh like a hog..

I tried CH. It is a powder you add to water. It leaves chalky residue on everything it comes in contact with. Some splattered on a deck with solid stain. I had to wipe it or scrub it off. It wouldn't just rinse off and you can't tell until it dries. So you could leave thinking everything is okay, but when it dries you will have a PO customer calling you back and not for moe work either.
