If its rated for it don't worry about legs, jacks or anything else. Just make sure the fab work is good.

Yeah, but you'd have think the rating is for holding dead weight, not live weight like a vibrating pressure washer. The constant high harmonic vibrating will eventually lead to metal fatigue and comensurate stress cracking.

Eh...not so much if you're parked curbside in the correct traffic direction.
 
I just don't understand what is the purpose for it .If something happened like just say a person walking up an got burned by the muffler etc what's the gain vs risk just saying. That thing cost a lot as well just don't know why you would want that . I wouldn't think you could ride down the road with it hanging out like that.
 
Its not ment to leave hanging out extended while driving down the road! Im building a bok truck, I think a narrow one will be great. Hell. somebody could easily walk by a trailer mounted unit and put there hand on a hot muffler if ignorant enough.
Might should bolt tailgates shut. Someone cloud smash their fingers closing it.

It's an option for those wanting to mount a skid in a van, and not have to worry about exhaust vent for one. The liability of hauling a trailer is eliminated. Look, there's liability in any way we haul our equipment this is just another option. I personally don't think I'd have one like it....but for some it may work. I see it working great for a specific niche service..

I see a huge advantage using a van. Surprise I use vans!!!!

I love using vans , it's a great idea using this slide.

Always thinking about safety first. I'm sure In a commercial spot no issue.

I'm just questioning the curbside parking?

Doesn't go out far enough to affect residential sidewalks around here. If it did I am sure cones could be used and caution tape could be used...I would think something this big and w a loud running engine would be LESS of a liability than a small hose or two going across a sidewalk that someone could trip over.
 
Nearly every city has a code about blocking sidewalks. It is an ADA issue. Where Ron and I live, the sidewalk is adjacent to the street. There is no grass between the sidewalk and the street, so you could conceivably receive a ticket for blocking the sidewalk. I don't think that is where anyone wants to be. There are usually permits available, but right of way guys are typically pricks. Retired cops that really love busting peoples chops. Of course, using that theory, you could also get a ticket for running your hoses across the sidewalk. It impedes potential flow of handicap traffic. As for potential issues, I see none that have not already been pointed out.

Here there is a 5-6 foot (sometimes larger) strip of grass between sidewalk and street....on 99% of all neighborhoods.
 
We usually have at least 3-4ft of grass before the sidewalk around here. I love the idea. If you're concerned about the liability I'd check with your insurance agent to make sure you are covered. You can't eliminate liability in today's world when stupid is the driving force and litigation has become a sport.
