Alternate spec on pump?

I was looking at a General pump TSF2021. The site advertises this pump at 8.5 gpm but also has it listed as "Alternate spec" at 7 gpm. What does the alternate spec mean. http://www.generalpump.com/pdfs/TSF2019-Pump.pdf

I believe it may be dependant on whether you run the pump at 1450 RPM or 1750 RPM

1450 RPM for 7 gpm and 1750 RPM for 8.5 gpm

That's what it is. Rated at 1450 and 1750 rpm.
