Going to a meeting this evening to make some new contacts. Anyone ever been to a meeting of this sort? What were your expectations and what was the outcome?
 
Went to residential real estate investment group in Orlando a few years ago... I went a number of times but nothing ever came from it. The members of this group were focused on buying distressed real estate and doing them up for as little money as possible... I guess so they could make more profit when it sold.
 
If they are buying distressed properties they most likely already have a contractor or GC who does there rehabs. If that is the case see about getting the contractors info. we have agreed upon pricing with several bank and investor rehab contractors. They just email the address and scope of work and we put it on the schedule and invoice it.
 
I have went a fair amount...and have learned a lot plus getting a few roof cleaning jobs from it.

It wont hurt anything.

Same here...the ones we work for it is a pretty painless process.
 
I do work for two of them ( I call them flippers). We don't make as much from them as a regular residential, but they are pretty steady. I also network with some of the other subs that they hire. I get quite a few referrals from them too.

I would try selling them the roof cleaning. Then just add in the rest, but I would start with the roof. You will need before and after pictures or give a demonstration. Good luck
