In recent days I have Seen a lot of Helping Sharing and just doing good.

Often we get off focus here with world events because we are all human and interest make us all curious.

Theres nothing wrong here debating and arguing, this often can make us better.

As long as we all remain respectful of each other, I have always felt we walked a find line on this.

I want to move this BBS forward further to help more guys and most importantly help each person here make more money.

I ask you today what DOES PWI mean to you? Really what is this place to you personally and what would you like it to be in the future?

Sometimes it seems that PWI means Post While Intoxicated.
But what I wish is that it would go back to business only, lose the politics, lose the religion, lose the drama. We all have other places to go for that. Take PWI back to what it was intended to be back in 2001. Productivity, Work and Instruction.

Well only Leaders Like yourself Can Help that, start a KEC blog about the industry and progress. Sounds like a great Idea

To me PWI has been a place to help me come up with business guidelines and educate myself to best practices for doing the job right, on time and on budget.

It has been useful in the field for search references. PWI has saved me time and money in the field, from incorrect soap solutions to a pump problem just the other day that PWI had me up and running in 10 min. just by using the search feature.

At this time PWI is my most resourceful tool besides myself. (for the record, i'm also my worst employee...lol)

I have to say I agree with Grant. This board does need to get back to its glory of being the place of education without comercialization from distributors. I know it is as much my fault as any due to my lack of positive and informative posts.

I'll be completely honest. I can't even remember the reason exactly, but I joined out of curiosity, like I've done with most groups and forums.
Right off the bat, I found it the 'inner workings' to be very different from what I had been accustomed to. It was at a time, if I recall, when I was a moderator in the Window Cleaners group on FB. Things weren't going too well and I wanted a little 'break' from the regimentation. Unavoidably, Tony S was very prominent in my readings and I thought I could have a field day with him and just ditch this forum whenever I want to and be no worse off for it. I'm out of that phase of thinking. Baiting people with outlandish statements and trying to readjust people on their understanding of the Scriptures is a rough road to navigate.

With all that said, I still in all honesty do find some helpful stuff and enjoy sharing a thought, mostly on window cleaning which is my forte. But I do come here more for entertainment than camaraderie or education. I'm on quite a few groups and forums and despite what is said here, there is more drama here than anywhere else I've been in a long while.
It sounds like the direction is going in a more positive line as per the administrators.
It is really nice that there is such a 'melting pot', beyond anywhere else that I know of.

I'm here first and foremost because it's the one place where I can get real info that is free. I'm not allowed to only speak about what sold by the owners since this is a truly independent BBS. I would disagree with Dan on the drama issue though. I find that drama comes here from other boards in the form of minions trying to derail something positive. Once they are removed the drama goes too. Funny how that works.

The Power Washing Institute is a place that has helped our company grow immensely! Its a place where individuals from all over of all different kinds can learn, share ideas, express concern about our industry, Inform about what is going on in the industry, bring education and experience to the table for many power washers old and new.
Drama is on all the BBS's. It is because different individuals from different backgrounds have different experiences and beliefs. However, I do feel that if an individual makes accusations against another individual they should provide proof. Now if a individual shares an experience different then another then well it happens.
Religion is apart of who people are this goes with those from different backgrounds should Christians or others be discriminated against for there beliefs? I don't think so.
The Power Washing Institute is a place that has been, is, and will continue to help those in the industry better their businesses and help the industry.
Thank you PWI

I like PWI because with out it my wife would get so sick of hearing about unloaders, ball valves, pumps, and surface cleaners.

PWI Saved My Marriage! Haha

She likes Purses or Cars?

Thanks Dan for your experience, I see your here a ton. So that must be a good thing, Enjoy and be a positive person. It will breed in all of us if we allow it, it can go both directions.

I get caught up is crap , we are all humans and should work to all be better.

Thanks for the Blog

Pressure washing institute is a forum where I can come to after an aggravating day and just unwind, get it all out of my head. For me its actually a place to relax, and shoot the chit. I have never ever been a member of any forums and never thought I would but most everyone here is a person that I can relate to. I have learned a ton from most here and I hope to continue to learn from the best. I hate to say it but its my little sanctuary. Thank you to all who are positive.

PWI is a place that I talk to friends, have discussions, heated debates and sometimes (a lot lately) have arguments with people that are clueless and are being manipulated by other people. I am not here for the arguing but I am passionate about this industry and try to protect it.

I have learned a lot of great things about people, business, religion (thanks Tony S.), family and a lot of other great stuff that helps life in many ways.

I like to come here for many different reasons but mostly to learn from other contractors from their experience so I would not have to learn the hard way all the time and shorten the learning curve.

There are a lot of great people here that share their information and experience which in many ways is priceless and it is great to be here most of the time (hate when the drama people come here just to cause trouble, I have to remember that they are just doing what they are told to) and when those people are not here, it is so much better because there is no arguing, no drama, no accusing people, no lies, no mis-directing threads, etc... it is so nice when that nonsense is not happening.

PWI is a great place where people can speak their mind, learn from others, have a great time, build their business skills, learn about chemicals and safety and much more.

I am really glad that PWI exists so we can be here and not have our posts edited towards other's ideas, not worry about if we agree with people that are not popular and end up getting banned, not worry about talking about other company products and getting harassed about it, not worry about people bashing you for no reason and many other things that don't happen here but happen on other sites, I am very thankful for this as it makes it so much stress-less posting and learning.

Thank you members and staff.
