DS Injector Stopped Drawing

Wow i dont understand the sss not lasting we run all sorts of things through them an they last a long time.I am not very mechanically inclined but would the machine that make these things could like the tolarances be off or something because of the problems we have with these little things?
 
If I open one to repair I'll use marine grease to coat the parts. Hoping it will extend the life for at least a full minute.

I would like to know who sells those, I can definately use some of them.

If you can, check which stainless alloy they're using. I think most use T-304 and it will not stand up to SH or even to marine air at the Oregon coast. That's the alloy that SS kitchen equipment is made of.

What's needed is T-316, which is also known as 'the marine' alloy (e.g. boat hardware and prop shafts). It contains more nickel and chromium than T-304 and is therefore harder to machine. Of course, it's more expensive, but worth it.
 
The replacement is on the UPS truck for delivery today. After that, I'm sending it back to them for determination on a warranty. I guess we will see what happens.....
