concrete per sq foot or flat rate

I believe that the most important thing to learn from this thread comes from Ocala JD, who stated, without apology, that he is the "most expensive" in his area. That is something to aspire to.

Its easy to miss the forest for the trees.

"Generally"... in Florida, that's not saying much. With every Tom, Dick and Harry doing pressure washing as a sideline to their taco stand business (and every other type of work out there) being the most expensive doesn't really mean you're that much higher than everyone else.

I've been told my prices are waaay too high even when I'm using a lowball special, damn near giveaway price. I'm tired of it, so I'm either going to end up specializing or targeting what the fly-by-night PW'ers can't get.

Lol thanks for the compliment. I agree with Red though.

Just want to be clear....I'm not demeaning or putting down what guys charge....you got to do what you got to do...My point is you should raise your prices to increase your profit margin. Again will you sell every job?...No...but when you do sell them it will be worth your time. Sharpen your sales skills...you can get those numbers.

Well said Guy.
